Modry

It's very apparent to anyone who watches the Blues play a game or two that they are very thin on the blueline. Have any of you heard any rumors on if the Blues have made any calls to the Kings for Modry?

He's a FA at the end of the year so if they don't want to keep him they can just let him walk at the end of the year. He can play a ton of minutes and he would really help the Blues on the PP at the point. I think he's a perfect fit and i really don't think the Blues would have to give up a ton. The Kings season is all but done with Palffy going down so he should be available pretTy much ASAP.

What do you guys think?

There are a number of pending UFA's that are going to be available at the season's end. Modry is one that I'd be interested in.

How about Modry for Khavanov?

Ooh yeah!! I could take that one...

First Johnson waived, whether he is claimed or not, it is the right move. Then we trade Khavanov...that would be wish #2.

Now, if we could just find a way to get all 3 detroit goalies to pull a groin at the same time...all my wishes would be filled :D (sorry Cujo...lol)

Wow. You certainly don't expect the Kings to have any sort of smarts do you degroat? I'd settle for a two-four of MGD and a towel boy to be named later in exchange for Khavanov. . .

I'm not going to start off by offering a 1st round pick. :p

I think a 3rd round pick and a marginal rosterplayer should solve the case.

The Kings are currently ahead of the Blues and figure to be battling with them to the wire for playoff positioning. I dont expect the teams to be trading with each other unless one of them totally falls out of the playoff picture.

The Kings amazingly seem to play better with each injury.
