I'm in the boat of people that think the Bolts should keep Khabby, ride out his slump and ride his hot hand that will follow. The thing that i don't get,is if Khabby is struggling why the hell do you start him against the Avs and Vancouver?
If Grahame is hot wouldn't it make sense to play him against the top teams and let Khabby play the offensively challenged Oil and Calgary to get his game in order? It just seems like the Bolts are trying to find a reason to dump him and if the do i think they'll regret it. What do you guys think?
By the way,Vinny looked absolutely amazing in both of the games in Alberta......man he'd look good in an Oil uniform. Too bad it will never happen!!!!!!

Khabby also played agaisnt Florida, that didn't turn out too pretty either. Sometimes Nik comes out against the tougher teams, didn't happen.
Feaster has said he will not trade Khabibulin, and the last thing a coach would do is demoralize his goaltender...and even if he is traded cause of bad play a GM wouldn't purposely tarnish his trade value.
However, I do think Khabibulin will be traded, more or less because of the 6.5 mill than play in general. Not many teams are willing to part with what the bolts would want for a 6.5 mill hit and a possible lock out on its way.
Lightning are in a "similiar" situation as Detroit, so this isn't the only team with an orgy of talent in net looking @ whats out there. Detroit is afraid to move Hasek/Cujo to a Western team, Bolts with an Eastern team; if they do move them of course. Take it for what its worth

Grahame played against Florida, had the same problem that Habby had earlier this year: He could hold them to two goals, but our team couldn't net three against the Luongos.
Anyway, do you know how much hell Feaster would get from everyone if he continued to state that Habby's his number one, then starts Grahamer against Colorado and Vancouver?
