In spite of all the comments about this being a new, possibly re-building team; the MAINEiacs possess quite a few vets; as well as walk-ons from the west. They rarely use their rookies, so reaching .500 should be no surprise; my question is this....What will they have in tank next year? This should have been a rebuilding year for the 'old' Castors from Sherbrooke, but in order to draw new fans to the Lewiston barn they went with a mediocre, 'middle-aged' line-up. The one bright star is Alex Picard!:dunno:

At least the Q' seems to be catching on south of the border this time around. They won't have that bad a team next year either. They have a nice base with Picard, Bourret and Aubin up front, Paiement on the point, and Verge done quite well in goal.

Glad to see that Lewiston isn't following in the Plattsburg Pioneers' footsteps. :)
