Was wondering if I could get a report (including NHL potential) on the following players:

North Dakota: Nick Fuher, Colby Genoway

Providence: Zingoni, Watson, Platt, Pemberton, Lundberg

Thanks,
ndak

Fuher:

Future AHLer. Good skater (not great), better than average stick skills, good shot (not great), average defensively. He has the best offensive skills on UND's defensive corps, but is probably the fourth best overall defenseman on the team. At his size (6-2, 190, but not real strong), he would need dazzling offensive skills to play in the NHL. He falls short of that standard.

Genoway:
Sat out the 2001-2002 season as he was ineligible due to major junior participation. The buzz prior to 2002-2003 was that he would be an impact player by midseason. Instead, he was in and out of the lineup, didn't get much ice time, and finished with 1-2-3 in 31 games. This year, he is 6-21-27 in 25 games. He plays the point on the top PP unit, which is where some of the assists have come from. He sees the ice well and has at least average skills all the way around. Sorry I can't help too much there as I just haven't seen him very much. It should be fun to follow his development. Has the size, anyway, to play forward in the NHL (6-1, 201).
