Well... its good to be a Tigers fan again... finally. After five years of watching them win 10-15 games all season, the Tabbies are rolling.
We just went 11-2-1 in Jan and are looking like a real contender for once. The Tigers are scoring machines... we simply blow teams away with our offence and our defence is much improved.
My only concern is in goal. We have a great starter in Nastiuk... but a rookie after him with no games played.
Still... its all good. The Arena is buzzing and I really think teams are scared to play us.

Yup, these are indeed good times for the Bengals and their fans.
Even though I've lived in Saskatoon for over a decade, I grew up only an hour's drive from Medicine Hat, and I used to listen to Bob Ridley (gosh, he's still alive! ;)) doing the play-by-play of their back-to-back Mem Cups. Even today, I cheer just slightly more for the Tigers than for the Blades.
So when the Tigers come to town on Friday night, I'll be definitely supporting the Hat--especially recent CHL Player of the Week Stefan Meyer. :D

The Tigers are now the number 10 ranked team in the CHL. Its just amazing how far this team has come in such a short time.
Gotta love the Tigers!!
Probably the most entertaining team in the WHL, and quite obviously the most efficient at scoring goals. There sure have been some dry years lately, but hopefully this season makes up for it with a long play-off run.

I would contribute much of the team's recent success to the coaching staff's ability to get the most out of it's players night in and night out, but obviously the talent and commitment of each player in the dressing room is also to be credited.
Tonight's home game versus the Red Deer Rebels should be a dandy. The Arena will surely be rocking, and hopefully to the tune of a definitive Tigers win!! Check out this pre-game report (http://www.tigershockey.com/gameday/browsei/2003-2004/) for the matchups and what to expect from the Tigers and Rebels in the interdivisional heavyweight tilt.
I'm wondering if anyone else has heard about the possible news of the city of Medicine Hat building a new Arena of the Tigers... I heard that a proposal was in the making, but I'm wondering if any concrete plans for location\size\timeline for it's completion have been released. It sure is exciting to see a small city like Medicine Hat expanding arenas instead of the opposite. The 'Hat has always been a hockey-crazed town, and somethings djust never change. :D

Yeah, I've heard rumors to but I don't think it's gonna happen. The stupid peforming arts centre is wasting too much of City Hall's money to even come up with floor plans. It would be nice for the Tigers to be in a newer, bigger and better arena that can actually handle big fancy pyro, but it's gonna be a while until that happens.

15 years of waiting for a new decoration and finally it has came. I'm glad I can experience a banner raising next year. I think the boys really diserve to receive this token of excellences. I hope they do their best and play hard hockey during the play-offs.

We are the Champions.... my friend
Awesome game in Lethbridge yesterday. Although some of the 'Canes fans spoiled it.
Bring it on... we want the Cup.
