Geoff Platt and Bobby Ryan each posted a goal and an assist as Portland edged Providence by a 3-2 count on Tuesday at the Cumberland County Civic Center. Goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin (pictured) stopped 30 of 32 shots and picked up his seventh straight win for the Pirates, all by one goal. Portland now leads the best-of-7 Atlantic Division finals, 3-2.
