Someone brought his name up on the Oiler board, and I started wondering about him. Why is he playing in Sweden this year? Do you think he could make a decent NHLer? Oilers' head scout Kevin Prendergast said they've tried to bring him over many times, but he was always asking for too much money. Would he be worth that money?

1. Because that's what Finnish players do when they realize that they can't play hockey forever and that they need to think about the future - in Sweden the rules for putting a part of the salary to a fund from which the players can get their living after their retirement are more lenient than in Finland. Other thing is that he probably wanted new challenges, having won the championship in Finland last spring and all.
