Hello,
I am writing an article for a St. Cloud State University hockey fan website and am interested in a little info on Surrey's Matt Francis (BCHL) and Notre Dame's Andrew Gordon (SJHL). All i'm looking for really is a little blurb on their styles of play. If anyone has some info on them or knows where to get some beyond the respective league/team web sites it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Gordon: Smallesh, feisty player. Very quick.

You Huskies fans will love Andrew Gordon. Nova Scotia native, Player of the week (Saskatchewan JHL) late in the season to help get Notre Dame out of the cellar to a #3 seed in the SJHL playoffs. Finished in the top 12 or so in scoring in the SJHL. Top 10 in rookie scoring last year. Fine passer who knows when to shoot. Regarded as small, probably because he gets so few PIM's. He's 5'11" / 180 lbs. and will fill out a bit more.
He's already played with some fine players in his young career (Andrew Joudray, Rylain Kaip, Sidney Crosby). Ask any of them what you're getting, and they'll make you Huskies fans smile.
Most importantly, this kid's got a good head on his shoulders on AND off the ice.
