AHL MVP Krog inks deal with Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks, parent club of the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, announced today they have signed forward Jason Krog to an NHL contract. Krog, the AHL’s regular-season and Calder Cup Playoffs MVP in 2007-08 for the champion Chicago Wolves, became just the third player in AHL history to lead the league in goals (39), assists (72), and points (112) in the same season.
