Game-tying goal.

Was it a fluke? Locals here on Ottawa radio are calling it a fluke, but I never got a clean look on tv replays... Just curious.

He slid slash spun around to get a skate on it. It appeared to be a fluke, but the only one who knows for sure is Kovalchuk.

Puck bouncing around and you as you spin and swipe at it with your stick it hits your skate and then a defender and in? I don't know how that's not a fluke. He's good, but he's not that good.

Yeah it hit Kovalchuk's skate, then bounced up, hit a Senator knee, then deflected into the net. It doesn't get much more fluky :p

Regardless of whether it was fluky or not...it tied the game and sent it into overtime where we finally beat those Senators. Maybe if the Sens weren't scrambling around none of that would have happened....Good for Kovy, fluke or not.

When you're good, they go in...
