What would the Hawks want for Berard?

The title says it all. It's directed at either what in general(pick, prospect, etc.) and from the Ducks(Chistov, Smirnov, etc.).

I'd do Chistov for Berard in a heart beat.

keep smirnov away from fleury.

a resonable pick would probably do it. he's not really in a posistion to get traded though, since we've traded everyone else

He's a free agent (unrestricted?) at the end of the season, right?

i'd think berard is a RFA (26 years old, right?)...unless the hawks aren't offering him a qualifier. and if they don't plan on that, i'd assume he'll be traded. i personally believe he's young enough to keep for this thing wirtz calls the rebuilding process :dunno:

I believe the Hawks have an option on him for next year. If they deal him they should get a good return, great offensive D man for the PP is important in the playoffs. But Pully is our GM, so that means we'd get a 3rd rounder, so I hope we keep him.

The only other Hawk that Pully will try to move is Karpovtsev.

id have thought you fans would love to keep him. he's been one of the only highlights of your team this year.

I've heard nothing on Poapst health so I didn't mention him. You think the Hawks could get something for Igor? Maybe a couple of jars of icy hot and some tape!
