Maximus 03-01-2004, 11:29 AM Anyone have a clue as to who starts tonight vs Avs...eh?. I'm thinking Khabby gets the nod again as the Lightning keep winning and Khabby has been between the pipes for most of the games between "elite" teams that they have played recently.
And thus my thinking Khabby gets the nod tonight and that Torts lets Grahame get the Black Hawk game on Wednesday....Agree...disagree? Anyone read for sure who gets the start?. If so, if they could post their thoughts, it would be quite appreciated.....thanks

Sotnos 03-01-2004, 11:46 AM It's been reported recently that coach is now going with the "you win, you stay in" philosophy, so it should be Khabi tonight. Grahame could really use a start soon however, he hasn't had one since Feb. 20, so a start from him this week wouldn't surprise me. It might be more likely in the back-to-back games Fri & Sat, but Khabi did get back-to-back starts earlier this week, so who knows. :)
I just looked around for you, and don't see anything definitive. I see the endless griping about Khabibulin is alive and well on the TBL board though. :joker:

Thanks for the input Sotnos.....mucho appreciated. I'll be sure to check over here before gametime as I need to set my lineups for the week by this evening in of course my pool where I have both Grahame/Khabby behind my #1 JTheodore......thanks again

Thanks for the heads up TBFanatic.....Now the question is do I have the "cajones" to start Khabby tonight vs the Avs as its quite the possibility tonights game could and likely will be one of those 4-4...5-5 types of games the Avs/Lightning have been involved in over the recent past when they've played each other which is great for us fans but not good for our fantasy goalie stats......
I think I'm going to keep Khabby on the bench and hope that Grahame gets the start Wednesday vs the much less lethal Hawks and watch tonights game on the dish and hope for a scoring orgy.....hehe
thanks guys

and you are correct, it would be wise to sit Khabi. He still hasn't proven hes 100% the Khabi of old, and against the Av's that means alot of soft goals.

Or it means the defense leaving guys like Sakic, Tanguay, and Hejduk open with time to pick a corner. Those guys generally dont miss if they have time to do that.

Sounds familiar.
