It looks like Assat will have to win their final regular season game at home AND rely on a favour from Lukko as i think JYP will get at least a point from their home game against Ilves Tampere tomorrow.

Jukka Jalonen has been coaching HPK for the last 3 seasons and I think his contract ends after 2006-2007... Dunno if he has coached JYP

It is probably me that has got the team wrong.He was in England 3/4 years ago with Newcastle,who had a bad season with him as coach.I know he then returned to Finland but was not sure with which team.

Jukka Jalonen has never coached JYP, although he played 2 games for JYP in the early 90`s

Jalonen coaches HPK. JYP coach is Matti Alatalo.

Not the league championship. That award was won by Tappara. HPK won the first position in the regular season, they were third after the playoffs.

Yes this is what i meant....league champions...not playoff champions, who was as u say, Tappara.
