While going through my stuff while getting ready to move I came across a seat I've got from the original Yankee Stadium. My dad had gotten 2 of them in the mid 70's when they remodelled the new stadium. Wooden seat with cast iron sides. Still has a wad of gum stuck to the bottom of it.

What would something like that go for? Looks just like this:

I don't remember the website but I found a website that sold arena relics. Try a search and see what you can find

I keep getting about 10,000 hits to buy tickets to Yankee games.

Hey G, if you are really looking into selling them, I know someone that would most likely be interested in buying them and would also know how much to pay for one.

Or you could call Cooperstown and see if they need any donations?

Yes, but with an item like that it may also mean tax writeoff.

And he could ask how much of a write-off he'd get, and know the value of the chair! :teach: (<-- that's me, explaining the obvious!)

Keep an eye on this:

If it doesn't sell, get in touch with the seller and ask what kind of offers he's had, if any. He seems to have knowledge of what others have closed at, so he might have the info you're looking for.

I have a pair of seats from the future, Former Veteran's Stadium. And, like G's, mine have a wad of gum under the seat.
These were being sold for $250.00 a pir, with hardware, thru the Phillies.
