How come there has been no updates or articles about our prospects since December?
BTW - Does anyone know where Hotlet is playing and how he is doing?

There haven't been any updates because I was the one who was doing them all, and I decided to leave HF for personal reasons. I'm sure there'll be lots of updates when they get a new writer.

Whats up man? I was the guy who was talking with ya this summer at the Euro prospect camp. The guy on the left not the right...

I remembered you...don't remember your name, but I knew which one you were.
My main reason for leaving was because I was partway into my final semester of college (undergraduate), and I could tell that I wouldn't have any time to do stuff for HF. So I just decided to leave rather than not produce.
BTW, Holtet had an OK season for Bofors in the 2nd tier of the Swedish system. He had 13G, 3A, 94PIM in 48GP.

To be fair, that kind of situation wasn't all that condusive to physical play except for those who rely on it (those being the likes of Downey, Sgroi, and Hagos). One of the things that got him noticed by the Stars scouts was his willingness to get dirty and throw hits despite his smallish size. Of course, 94 PIM in Sweden doesn't mean quite the same as it does here because they're more a little more liberal with the 10 (and 20) minute penalties. The kid's got character, but now he needs to start producing where his talent level is. Consistency and defensive coverage are still a bit of a sore spot for him.

Whats his status as far as being brought over? Possibbly a stint with the Steelheads in the ECHL????

I'm nearly positive they won't bring him over until he's at least played in the SEL. That could be as early as next year, but I'd bet two years until he sees SEL action.

Cool, thanks for the info. Good stuff...
