Does this mean CBS owns a big chunk of Strikeforce?

Does Spike own a big chunk of the UFC? Does NBC own a big chunk of the NHL? Since when does being on tv mean the channel owns a part of whatever it is they're showing?

Since Dana said that's why the UFC turned down the deals with CBS that EliteXC accepted. Showtime and CBS both fall under the Viacom umbrella, and Showtime was a part owner in EliteXC. It seems controlling power is a tradeoff for these contracts, and UFC is unwilling to give it up.

I can't wait for this event, we get to see Fedor and I'm pretty sure Mayhem/Sheilds is on this card also.

About the authority these networks have, Showtime is why the third affliction show didn't happen 'cause they didn't feel they had the time to promote Vitor/Fedor.

Sefo's fighting on the Strikeforce Challengers card tomorrow, not the CBS show (as of yet, anyways).

Instead of jumping down his throat, know your facts. Showtime is owned and operated by CBS.
