Pretty good card for a smaller org to have. Lots of ex-UFC fighters on there. Hopefully "The Athlete" picks up the win over Lutter.

They are putting together a pretty nice stable of fighters, I think they recently signed Thales Leites and Dean Lister.
damn it i wanted to go, but i have to go to calgary for a wedding =(

I like watching Macdonald, he's probably two wins away from another shot in the UFC or Strikeforce might come calling.

If he had any kind of consistency he'd be a top 10 MW, it's a real shame. His biggest weakness is coming up with a good game plan and then sticking to it.

Holy crap. The Heath-Nickel's fight was absolutely amazing. Just the last 3 minutes were just astonishing.

Went to the fights at RiverCree on Friday, was a decent show, that Heath/Nickles fight should really get some fight of the year nods I would assume. Other than that, the atmosphere was pretty good. I had a fun time, probably will be a 2-3 times a year event I'd go to, definitely not something I would go to every time. Recorded it on PVR, so I'm gonna watch that and see which I like more. haha!
