You know, the consequence of the hit certainly affects my opinion. I'd vote for 2 minutes if he was fine, but since he clearly wasn't - suspension.

It's a little dirty. It was a hit from behind without a doubt, but it seemed like Ruutu had him lined up already and it seemed like a lapse in his judgment. There's a 3 seconds from when Tucker dished the puck and when he was hit. I don't think it's that bad if he's hit within the first two, but Ruutu should have known enough to bail out at the last second.
I'd say 3 games or so is probably what was deserved. I don't think it was a Downie or Chris Simon type or dirty.

Pretty clear hit from behind. I can't decide if that's suspension worthy, but I'd probably err on the side of caution and slap him with a 1-gamer just because that is how the Ruutus roll fairly regularly.

Wtf? He hits like a train but he isn't dirty player by any means. Hit on Tucker was bad and he might get suspension but everyone who has followed his career closely knows that this hit was not typical Tuomo...

I'm not sure. Late hit... but if he wasnt injured I'm sure no one would talk about this hit.

Um, I think you're thinking of the other Ruutu.
As for the hit, it was clearly from behind so a little dirty. With the result to Tucker, it's gonna bring a suspension.

Last time someone said this, I asked them to show evidence that Jarkko does things like this.
He certainly hasn't since he came to Ottawa.
I know he has done dirty things in the past, but hitting people when they're vulnerable isn't his most common offense.
