Chicago on the clock

Hey guys. Sorry to pollute your board w/ another draft poll. But I thought it might be fun to do a mock draft going from team board to board. This board probably has the best idea of what your team needs. I would have simply used the Olesz/Schremp poll, but I wanted Barker to be on there too. I'll close the ballot in two days, although this might be unrealistic. If voting is 1-2 I'll have to extend it. Hopefully I included everyone who has a realistic chance of being selected. I'm skipping over Washington and Pittsburgh. Thanks!

Probably Barker.

Who do you think he compares to?

I hate to change the rules in midstream, but perhaps I should give this pick at least one weekday to get more votes. Monday at 4:22, it's final though. Scouts honor.

That's it. 11-10-6 at the moment. Hawks select Olesz. Thanks for participating.

I don't know, maybe a Rob Blake if he reaches the sky limit. The big question is how likely is it that he gets there. There's people who are better suited than myself to answer that q. He was the one name that consoled me when the Wild were stinking before they went on a tear.

I think Olesz is a good pick though. I see Chicago as pretty indifferent between him and Barker where as Columbus is desperate for Barker. Wouldn't surprise me to see Chicago get a bonus pick (2nd rnd, or more likely a 3rd in a deep 2005) from the Jackets in order to steer clear of Barker.
