What? Huerta is a free agent now, the link is from HIS twitter account. So I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. Dana and co gave him the Arlovski treatment and buried him on a UFC Fight Night card.

His contract is over, it's just that the UFC has the right to match any contract offer made to him until November -- I guess it's kind of like he's an RFA instead of a UFA. :naughty: So Strikeforce might wait until November if they think it'd save them some money.

ah yeah just read that as well. I don't see the UFC matching.....I don't know if I buy into the whole "he's got great marketing potential"....never been really impressed with Huerta...as much as it pains me to say this I think the huge fight with Guida was do toward Guida more so than Huerta.
