Johannes Salomonsson, this guy might be a steal, if he is still available in the second round, considering that he was projected to be a first rounder. even tho he is hurt, he might be worth a shot at the second round
Looking at the Second RoundLoki_46 04-25-2004, 04:17 AM Johannes Salomonsson, this guy might be a steal, if he is still available in the second round, considering that he was projected to be a first rounder. even tho he is hurt, he might be worth a shot at the second round frisland 04-29-2004, 12:23 PM I think it was the redline report, but someone said he might opt out of this year because of the injuries. As a ranger fan with picks 35+37 i like mcgrath or ogorodnikov. Beyond thibault, how are the hawks in goal?, as dubynk and shantz will probably be avail at 32 JayzinSmith 04-29-2004, 01:17 PM Beyond thibault, how are the hawks in goal?, as dubynk and shantz will probably be avail at 32 The Blackhawks don't need another goalie. Jocelyn Thibault ... 29 yrs old ... NHL starter (RFA) Michael Leighton ... 22 ... NHL backup/AHL starter (RFA) Craig Anderson ... 22 ...NHL backup/AHL starter (RFA) Adam Munro ... 21 ... AHL backup Steve Passmore ... 31 ... on his way out (UFA) Michael Ayers ... 24 ... unsigned Adam Berkhoel ... 22 ... unsigned Mike Brodeur ... 21 ... AHL backup/ECHL starter Corey Crawford ... 19 ... unsigned Tyson Kellerman ... 20 ... unsigned Matt Underhill ... 24 ... ECHL/let go (RFA) I'm guessing one of Leighton/Anderson/Munro is traded to make room for either Ayers or Berkhoel in the AHL. Passmore will not be back, and I don't think Kellerman will be signed, either. Probably only one of Ayers/Berkhoel will be signed, the other traded at the Draft for a pick in the second half or let go as a UFA. tuomo_ruutu 05-06-2004, 09:11 AM Look For Corey Crawford To Be The Hawks Number 1 In The Net In 3-4 Years... Beyond thibault, how are the hawks in goal?, as dubynk and shantz will probably be avail at 32 ogorodnikov, ??? mcgrath is who i am like with olesz, but if red line is right, he might not be there, oh well. ref to goalie, outside the top 2 rated goalies in the draft, i wouldn't invest in another goalie. copied from another post of mine. i have been keeping a list of who i would love to see fall to the hawks at the second round. all these players i would love to see wearing the hawks logo. Lukas Kaspar - considered with evan mcgrath as maybe the best scoring players outside the top 2 ranked players. Adam Pineault - is a premiere power forward in the making and has a knack for finishing with a goal when in a scrum in front of the net. Evan McGrath - great player and i am wondering why he is not ranked in the top 10. considered to be a fast skater who scores. Blake Wheeler - wow, at 6'5 who can skate and is not afraid to hit and can score. loves to play around the net and is quick the the stick when touching the puck in the traffic. problem is he is a puck hog. Johannes Salmonsson - top 5 player falling because of his injury, can he make it to the second, maybe. Don't the bruins think that Hannu Toivonen will be the future in goal? :D tuomo_ruutu 05-07-2004, 03:46 PM No, what I meant to say is : be patient with crawford, like the bruins have been with raycroft, raycroft is 23 and it's is 4 season as a bruins but they gave him a chance only this year !!!!! of toivunen is excellent prospect, but with the season raycroft has, don't think you gonna see another goalie in the front off boston net in the next year except raycroft.... | ||
