Was bad for O'Byrne. fire bettman 02-14-2010, 01:33 AM it's on hockeyfights.com Washington Capitals 02-14-2010, 05:11 AM K1_JdYDatMY Laperriere won this one. CanadiensFan1321 02-14-2010, 07:24 AM yeah laperriere won that fight easily. OByrne is not a fighter laperriere is so easy for lappy. InglewoodJack 02-14-2010, 10:58 AM Laperriere won that one, but he didn't own him. O'Byrne has all the tools to become a quality fighter, but this is the first year where he's the go to tough guy. He's going to be a hell of a fighter one day. HoverCarle* 02-14-2010, 11:08 AM Laperriere won that one, but he didn't own him. O'Byrne has all the tools to become a quality fighter, but this is the first year where he's the go to tough guy. He's going to be a hell of a fighter one day. O'Byrne has a height advantage which caused Lappy problems, but I still give Lap the decsion hero 02-14-2010, 08:58 PM Lap one it, but not much of a fight. InglewoodJack 02-14-2010, 09:10 PM O'Byrne has a height advantage which caused Lappy problems, but I still give Lap the decsion Yeah Laperriere won that one for sure. But he's a seasoned fighter, O'Byrne, not so much. But O'B's size made this a fair fight. Rgolt 02-15-2010, 12:15 AM refs shouldve let that one continue Obyrne got right back up Some_Arrogant_Jerk* 02-15-2010, 05:37 AM K1_JdYDatMY Laperriere won this one. Thank you for providing your expert insight. MXD 02-15-2010, 06:57 AM We should see more of these "let's drop our helmets" amongst middleweights. Gert B Frobe 02-18-2010, 06:51 PM refs shouldve let that one continue Obyrne got right back up I guess the refs kind of have to step in there - O'Byrne got jolted pretty hard in the jaw - put him on his knees and he was definitely seeing some stars. They don't want to see a guy get back up just because he doesn't want to give up - and then see that guy get hurt badly because he's vulnerable. 68 02-18-2010, 08:32 PM You guys are funny. No way O'Byrne lost that fight. The Expert 02-18-2010, 11:33 PM Laperriere won that one, but he didn't own him. O'Byrne has all the tools to become a quality fighter, but this is the first year where he's the go to tough guy. He's going to be a hell of a fighter one day. I'd say he's a lot more likely to be a Hal Gill than a hell of a fighter. Washington Capitals 02-19-2010, 06:17 AM Thank you for providing your expert insight. You are welcome. InglewoodJack 02-19-2010, 11:00 AM I'd say he's a lot more likely to be a Hal Gill than a hell of a fighter. I'd say he's a lot more likely to be a hell of a fighter. Bring_Bak_Damphousse 03-02-2010, 02:50 PM I'd say he's a lot more likely to be a hell of a fighter. Easy, he's a Sens fan...if there's one thing Senators fans know it's fighters. Psycho Papa Joe 03-06-2010, 09:15 AM Laps with the win. Not one of O'Byrne's better efforts. He's a better fighter than he showed in this one. ccgg 03-06-2010, 02:14 PM O'Byrne has a big heart. Never affraid but not the best fighter. Boris Le Tigre 03-06-2010, 03:50 PM O'Byrne has no chin. Oh well, stands up for his team and is a good d-man. What more could you ask. Unfortunately for him, with the current Habs roster, when someone has to fight more often than not it'll be him. That's not really ideal, imo. | ||
