What Are The Chances???

Let's say Forsberg decides not to go to Sweden for another year. What's the chance, post CBA, that he winds up in Vancouver with Naslund? He has always wanted to play with Nazzy again, and it would give him a chance to play with him before heading home to Sweden. He will probably sign for much less money no matter where he goes with the new financial landscape set to take place one way or another. Could we, or should we go after him. This would also allow us to either drop Morrison to the second line, or use him as bait in a trade to get either more scoring depth or a top notch goaltender if we decide not to re-sign Cloutier.

Am I just dreaming, or could there be a possibility of something like this happening???

About the same chance as Avs trading for Bertuzzi. :shakehead

I can't even tolerate him. Call me an idiot, but I couldn't stand having him on my team.

I wouldn't say the chances are that bad.

Remember Forsberg saying that he wanted to play one year with Naslund, then saying he is a free agent at the end of the year, but Nazzy still has another year left...?

It exactly because of that that I brought it up in the first place. I know the chances are not good, but we also saw what some players will do to go to the team or player with the teammates that they want (Paul Kariya). There would be nothing stopping Forsberg from joining the Canucks as he is a UFA, correct? If he's not, then there's no way at all that it would happen, but it's nice to think of at least the possibilty of a Bertuzzi-Forsberg-Naslund line.

I'm not going to rule anything out. I'm not going to get my hopes up at the same time.

I believe thay will play together next year, but I think its going to be in Sweeden. Speculation has been very stong that Forsberg is done with the NHL and I think that Naslund has unfortunately played his last game in this leaque as well.

I don't think Naslund is done.
