I hope I did not miss anyone. By the looks of it 5 Finnish players could get drafted in the first two rounds. This Korpikoski has climbed 144 spots(!) (much thanks to his splendid U18 tourney, obviously).

The CSS had Lepistö ridiculously high after the WJC and then had his stock dive when they realized there was no U20 (U21) tournament in April. They've always choked on hype and will always do so. I've never seen them compile a decent list.

(This rant has nothing to do with me trying to save my dignity after Predatore had to do "my" job) :innocent:

I thought Tukonen would be higher... who's ahead of him? Ovechin, Malkin, Olesz? ???

The Korpikoski hype started when he played very well in the four tournament (I forget where it was) before the U18 worlds. At least Kyle Woodlief from Red-Line report was singing his praises. Korpikoski followed up with a stellar performance in Minsk and might find himself in the first round, as guys whose stock skyrocket close to the draft might find themself drafted suprisingly high ala Jesse Niinimäki.

Also a question for anyone who has seen Aki Seitsonen play: How talented is he offensively and could he have upside as an NHL scoring-line player?

I think Nokelainen will turn out to be the best of these players, and I am a huge fan of Tukonen and Korpikoski...

He's great defensively, very mature and shows technique unseen from a two-way prospect in Finland since the days of Jere Lehtinen.

I think you are not huge fan of Tukonen if you say that. Tukonen is IMO TOP5 of the world and Nokelainen is maybe TOP20-30. I agreed you that Nokelainen is look alot like Lehtinen, but Tukonen looks some mixed to Teemu Selannne and Tuomo Ruutu. He is pure goal scorer but his not bad two-way player eather. Tukonen can play very hard and look man amongs boys when he played U18.
