Where's Kalle Helminen? Four goalies but no Helminen? My hype really failed me here.

As far as I know, Himanka, Jalvanti, Molin and Lehto form the d-man core. The offense can't be called strong, Nyholm and Tuominen are probably the most interesting forwards.

Correspondingly, here's the U16 roster. There's not much to chew here, just memorize some names.

Goalies:

Toni Reunanen TPS
Teemu Sanaksenaho KeLä
Harri Säteri HPK
Joni Weckström Jäähonka

Defensemen:

Iiro Havukainen TPS
Sami Martikainen Blues
Tomi Tuomivaara Tappara
Juha Relander HIFK
Matias Kiviharju S-Kiekko
Joni Liljeblad Kärpät
Joonas Grönqvist HJK
Jesse Jyrkkiö Ässät
Olli Keränen Jäähonka
Tuukka Peiponen KalPa
Harri Nieminen HJK
Markus Raaska JYP
Roope Kämäräinen Ilves
Lari Salo Ässät
Tom Lindstedt HJK
Joonas Salmi Kärpät

Forwards:

Niko Kivinen Hermes
Nestori Lähde Ilves
Ville Rankinen Jokerit
Toni Jalo TPS
Jaakko Isokoski YJK
Niklas Sandberg TPS
Tomi Pallassalo Jokerit
Niko Palonen Ässät

How you could forget Purolinna and Tenhunen? They have very good size and they can also play very well whit puck. Purolinna got last year C-juniors, 11 game and 3+3=6 and Tenhunen got 11 game and 1+4=5. I think they are both locked U17 team and i think they have chance U18 WJC next year. They upside is maybe best this croup whit Nyholm. Purolinna 6'2" and Tenhunen 6'2", what a monster pair. They could easily grow 6'5".

What I'd love to see, is something similar for the u-17 team as the u-20 team had this last season, games against teams bigger and tougher than them...

say the u-17 team playing u-20 teams? Ofcourse, for some of them that might be too big a physical gap, so it could be a makeshift u-20 with primarily smaller guys, but ones still bigger than what the u-17's have, to get them used to playing agaisnt tougher opponents. It did wonders for the u-20's imho.

And I thought Joonas Itäjärvi would get his chance, despite his average regular season statistics he played the bronze medals for Ässät almost alone. I also wonder why the third best junior C team in Finland is not represented with any players.

Ilves was really dominant in junior C level, they bashed all their main opponents quite easily. The future in Tampere looks pretty bright after second championship in row.
