El Dandy 07-22-2010, 12:20 PM Obviously not the greatest, but my top 3 favorites (in no particular order) nonetheless.

The Brood

4 Horsemen (I know this group was together for a very short time, but Pillman + Horsemen = winner)

This.
Although I always kinda liked DX, too...
SENSfreak_03 07-22-2010, 01:52 PM Evolution should probably be considered in this debate too.
It's to bad that the faction is more or less dead, maybe Nexus can make a run at bringing it back.
For me. I liked DX from the Attitude Era, not so much their re-incarnations since.
The Nation of Domination was good too. Great feud the two groups had.

Evolution.
The Union.
HM: The Unamericans.
I liked X-Factor too. A bunch of low-mid card guys banding together to try and better themselves. Seems real.
yakitate304 07-22-2010, 09:02 PM I liked the nWo Wolfpack, back whenever that was. I remember it had Konnan, Kevin Nash, Sting, etc... I think I was about 10 at that time. I had WCW vs NWO: Revenge, on my N64, and I usually used the guys from the Wolfpack group.
I remember the Nation of Domination with Farooq or whatever that guys name was. They were pretty entertaining although at the time the political side flew over my head.
And I also liked the group that followed Raven around... I remember Perry Saturn and Kidman (one of my favorites when I was growing up) were in it.
I don't remember much other than that.

They'd probably look a lot tougher in that picture if Davey Boy didn't have that stupid fanny pack.
My choices:
1. 4 Horsemen ('86 - '88)
2. nWo ('96 - '97)
3. Freebirds ('80 - '89)
The worst faction of all time:

Not listing a serious faction or one that I consider anything but comic relief.
In regards to the OP's intent? Four Horsemen, w/o question.
Ir regards to the Job Squad and the Oddities, you have to mention the BWO.

So it was hardly the end of the thread then was it ;)
F0rsbergFan21 07-29-2010, 08:10 PM The 4 Horseman until they added Mongo. I loved when Benoit held up the 4 fingers, Arn too. There was something special/cool about how those to did it.
I loved the Hart Foundation
The Brood
I hated NWO. I found it boring they would gang attack and spray paint. It killed WCW for me. I never cared about Hogan so his turn meant nothing to me. I also felt Hall and Nash were great though. Loved the Too Sweet and the over the shoulder points.
I loved Road Dog and Billy Gun but I felt HBK and HHH tried too hard.

I'd love to see a good faction war. I heard DX vs. the Nation was awesome.

DX vs. The Nation of Domination was pretty good... I never thought D-Lo Brown was much, but Rock and Farooq (Ron Simmons) were entertaining and credible.
The Four Horsemen set the standard, though. Every faction since then has tried to be The Horsemen.
Morozov 08-02-2010, 08:49 AM D-Lo was all good for a lower card/European title level guy.

mapes 08-11-2010, 12:17 PM I only really have 2 that I really liked and it's Evolution and DX. Evolution because it was a great way to pass the torch and get Batista and Orton into main event status. DX was just funny.
Oh I forgot Ministry of Darkness. These aren't who I think are the greatest stables, just my favorites.

Nation of Domination!
Ignatius 08-11-2010, 09:13 PM How about The Corporation?
Vince went out of his way to make Rocky Maivia the ultimate face then when that didn't work The Rock became a heel. Then when The Rock started getting over he joins The Corporation. He had to have the most popular mis-managed gimmick until he was a bona fide top tier superstar.

dear lord, Booker looks constipated though.
I sincerely hope that is a screen cap someone took and not an official photo. If that is the best pose they have that is terrible.
les Habs 08-16-2010, 10:22 PM For me it was
1 The Flock
The Flock should have been utilized so much better. I mean imagine the NWO running riot and then Raven, not giving a **** about anything, deciding to have a go at the NWO. Of course they'd have had to make the Flock stronger, but it would have been interesting. And they could still do the Flock to this day. So much potential to do more with them over the years too.
2 The Horsemen
In terms of the most decorated, they take it easily. I'm glad I got to see them on the Superstation at 6:05pm Eastern back in the day. Still I remember the latter Horsemen best. Mongo should have never been in the group, ditto for Malenko. Should have been Ric, Arn, Benoit and Eddie.
3 NWO
Of course the NWO got way too big with way too much deadweight, but it was still a great faction. I mean they would just add dumb guys all the time when it really wasn't needed. Basically looked to me like they had nowhere to go with the roster and so they added them to NWO. Anyway, NWO consisting of Hall, Nash, Hollywood, X Pac, Bischoff, Konnan, Steiner, Giant, Hennig and maybe Buff was more than enough. Anyway, it gave us the best Hall, the best Nash and IMO the best Hogan we've ever seen. Hogan's heel turn was just MASSIVE.
