Pick Em' Suggestions [Archive]

Tried to add this on to the original post, but it wouldn't let me, so I had to put it here. Basically all I'm asking is if you like the current rules/layout/points/general idea. Vote Yes if you do, vote no if you don't. If you vote no please post a suggestion or anything you think we can add to make it better. Even if you vote yes and think something could be added please post. We will gladly add anything you guys suggest. Thanks.

I just noticed this thread never got any responses or votes.

I voted yes to liking the current format, but I do think it should be changed a little. I'll just basically re-state what I said in the standings thread.

The best way to do it, imo, would be to just set a minimum number of ppv's like 5 or something and have that be a cutoff for your score to actually count. Then take the amount of points earned, divide it by the number of PPV's the person has participated in, and have that be the rating. It solves the issue of people that come in late not being able to catch up, and it still rewards those who make a lot of good picks. It's also not much more work. It doesn't take a lot of time to do one quick math problem for each person. Although, it would probably be a good idea to use some sort of table to show the stats easily.
