This place lacks ROH discussion. In case you haven't heard, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have signed on for Glory By Honor IX.

Then the following was posted this afternoon:

FINALLY, FINALLY!!!

After all of the no compete [expletive], we are RELEASED AND UNLEASHED to wrestle the way we want, and no longer do we have to put up with KISS ASS POLITICS!

WGTT is coming to a company that respects professional wrestling, especially the art of TAG TEAM WRESTLING.

ROH is said to have the best Tag Team division in the wrestling world. That is why Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas have chosen to reunite in Ring of Honor.

The so-called Kings of Wrestling are the ROH World Tag Team Champions! ROH is your backyard; we are just guests. But make sure you bring your ‘A’ game, because rest assured WGTT will be at the top of ours. WGTT promises that the KOW has never been challenged by a more aggressive, tenacious, and well schooled wrestling tag team.

We are angry and more motivated than ever before to prove why we are WGTT.

WGTT now stands for “Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team” and on September 11th we will once again show the world why.

Needless to say, ROH is really clicking on all cylinders right now. I don't know that they can afford to bring in WGTT full time, but even as a possible one-off, this should be a hell of a match.

I wish ROH would get bigger. It sucks that these talented wrestlers don't have financial security if they don't stick around the E or get a lot of time on TNA (IIRC they pay per appearance).

There are a lot of talented guys out there looking for jobs. Hopefully ROH becomes the wrestling company we wish TNA was going to become.

Also, sidenote - that new deal in New York looks decently promising too.

I've been wanting to watch some RoH recently because I've never seen it before and I want to check it out, but I don't know where to watch it tbh.

They've got the weekly show on HDNet. If you don't get HDNet, it's posted on YouTube every week. While enjoyable, it's significantly lighter than the rest of the shows, which ROH sells on DVD. They've always got some kind of sale going on their website.

They also run about 4 iPPVs a year, and this particular show happens to be one. All of them so far have been $15 and available on www.gofightlive.tv.

You know what, ROH finally smartened up and overhauled their business model. HDNet covers all of their production. They actually make decent money off of the iPPVs, where as they didn't when they were on conventional PPV. They stopped flying in imports for every other show. They overhauled the web site for the first time in like, five years. They have video on demand on their site.

Circa late '06 through mid '07, they were trying to grow too much. They had the strap on Morishima, which meant they had to fly him in. They were still using TNA guys. Realistically, if ROH got some decent backing, they could go places.
