Totally agree. However head to head Nexus as a group against WWE stars as a group isn't believable. They lack a more established leader at this point. Last night or even tonight would have been the perfect point to add one.

I'm not saying they have to get the win, but at least look competitive and look like you can hang. Jericho did what Jericho does best: unselfishly puts guys over. Outside of a minute, Gabriel looked pathetic in the ring with Orton. Slater looked meh and got some offense in, but nothing to write home about. Young is about to get wrecked by Cena. Skip got the win, but right now he is on the same level as Morrison IMO so that's a wash. Outside of a few punches, Bryan made Tyke Mison his *****.

This is THE top program on Raw right now, and having them not even look like they are in those guys league is bad. If you're not gonna attempt to make them look good in said matches, then why book the matches?

Well 1 we got to see every Nexus member fight. It's big to have Barrett fight and he won legit. We got to see Miz go off and Alex Riley who I believe is the best maybe 2nd best on nxt, cut a promo he is pretty good.. The Cena segment in the beginning was great and the match at the end was also very good.

Weak job putting Nexus back over. Thought it would be a good time to dump some dead weight, and then allow the "higher power" storyline to develop to add someone from the WWE side (even if it was a mouthpiece).

That doesn't mean much. We've seen alot of wrestlers make up and break up over the years. It wouldnt be difficult to say that hbk was just offering lip service at his retirement speech if he is coming back.

I disagree I like Tarver but he will never be more than a midcard guy and I would probably forget about him in a few months but I still like him. Sheffield has the build and is good enough on the mic and in the ring to go somewhere, won't be more than a tag champ though. The only guy other than Young who I wanted to see go is Otunga. This is Sparta? Definitely a lack luster design. The WWE Tag Title's they were using were fine, just drop the "world" belts.

I hate Chris Jericho too. The way he walks and carries himself is just infuriating for some reasons. I don't care about his mocking of the audience and what not, I just detest the way in which he walks down the ramp and to the ring.

I really hope, at the very least, the Womens titles are merged as well as potentially the IC/US. I hate having so many belts. Remember the days of three championships (World, Tag, IC)? I believe, at certain times during the brand split, the WWE saw as many as 10 championships (World, WWE, World Tag, WWE Tag, Womens, Cruiserweight, Hardcore, US, IC, ECW). my thoughts on Raw... entertaining to an extent.

i hated to see Jericho lose to Barrett, but at least it was a good match and Jericho is just helping the company.

the announcers blow so bad, imo. the over the top "we have never seen Orton like this!!!" when we actually have, lots of times... i hate that crap.

even though Orton and Cena are not the champ, they are still booked as the two strongest over and over. i hated seeing Sheamus beat down. i get that sells PPV and it is a formula, but once i'd like to see Sheamus booked stronger as the champ.

i thought Cena might go back to help black cena last night. i really hate when they have Cena free flow on the mic and try to be funny. in fairness to Cena, it's anyone in this PG era. the insults and names they come up with are so lame.

i like Danielson a lot and his program with Miz is going to be the best thing on Raw for the enxt few weeks. for me anyway...

solid review, and my thoughts exactly, other than the 1st of what i bolded. i was hoping cena would help black cena also, but i thought the promo cena cut with nexus to open the show was pretty good. i caught myself cracking a smile when cena acknowledged a wendys chant breaking out on monday night raw. and calling darren young a byproduct of too much brandy and his moms lust for buckwheat was clever i thought as well. my hatred for cenas character skews my thoughts on him, but it was still a great promo imo.

and yeah, danielson/miz should have a fantastic program going at least until NOC, hopefully another month after that as well. i have also heard from a source still close with the company that they are toying with a bourne/danielson program to follow once miz is pushed to the championship title scene. nothing decided on yet.

NXT wrestlers do impress me too because I like Kaval and Riley. Idk maybe when WWE goes along I will have a changed opinion about Daniels.

danielson has hype from those that have seen his work in ROH, and thats about it. notice how he didnt get much of a pop when cena announced him as the 7th man? sure there was some applause, but i expected much better out of a ppv crowd. he got great pops when he was first tagged in though.

the thing with guys like danielson, punk, and bourne, and really anybody defecting from ROH to the WWE, they typically have great ring skills and wrestling abilities. i just dont think the wwe has the stones to say, "brian...matt, the floor is yours, just do what you do". they will be held back, and limited greatly unfortunately. as we've seen so far with both bourne and punk. i'm surprised they allowed bourne to do the shooting star press into the rko a month or so ago. that was unreal, and really just par for the course for a talent like bourne. time for the wwe to take the collars off the ROH guys and let them go at it.
