QBs
1. Vick
2. Rodgers
3. Brady
4. Brees
5. Romo
Dud - I don't think Peyton could even be considered one as it's too obvious, so I'll go Ryan.

RBs
1. Charles
2. Rice
3. AP
4. McFadden
5. Blount
Dud - Not sure if MJD would still count. Same for Turner. So aside from those two, I'll say CJ.

WRs
1. Fitz
2. Andre Johnson
3. Calvin Johnson
4. Roddy White
5. Vincent Jackson
Dud - Not sure if Reggie Wayne counts. I'll go Jennings due to Finley's return.

TEs
1. Finley
2. Gates
3. Witten
4. Graham
5. Davis
Dud - Again, not sure if Clark would count here. That's the only top guy I think will struggle. I also think Daniels and maybe even Hernandez could approach top 5 numbers.

Always thought this was interesting to do. I see I was the only one who did it last year, but we'll give it another try. Lol.

QBs
Rodgers
Brady
Stafford
Brees
Cam
Dud - Vick. I just don't see him staying healthy.

RBs
Mathews
McCoy
Rice
CJ2K
McFadden
Dud - Well needless to say if I don't have Foster in my top 5, he's the guy. I just have a feeling he's gonna get hurt.

WRs
Calvin
Julio
Marshall
Fitz
Brown/Decker (yes they will tie for 5th. Lol)
Dud(s) - I don't see AJ, Jennings, or Jordy doing as well as expected

TEs
Graham
Hernandez
Gates
Gronk
Fred Davis
Dud - Finley. He missed a lot of camp, and hasn't been the healthiest guy in the past.

I'm realizing a lot of my duds are Packer receivers, and that's not good as I have Rodgers in my money league. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm not much of a Football expert, so I was wondering why, before the start of the season, every one was saying that Rice, McCoy and Foster were the undisputed top 3 RBs (and arguably the top 3 overall picks) in any fantasy draft, and now hardly anybody ranks all three of them in their RB top 5? Rice seems to be making most poeple's lists, but McCoy and especially Foster are left out often. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

And also, what do people thing of C J Spiller? He seems to be doing really well.

Projections are largely based on a few factors. Last season's performance is big, the type of offence that they play in (is it run or pass based?), whether they are TD targets in the redzone, skill, etc etc. The problem with the highly ranked backs is that they are either targeted specifically by defenses, making it tougher for them, or just high expectations. Those 3 are the top 3 because they are the most consistent, and most talented, RBs.

Foster is still a top 5 RB, the only reason I can think of for him dropping out is that his backup, Ben Tate, is taking carries from him. McCoy hasn't got off to a good start.

This thread is a few years old, hence why the old posts leave them out (McCoy and Foster really only jumped onto the scene with the last couple seasons). All of the ones this year have them listed.

Also, Fred Jackson looks like he will be back in a couple weeks, and Spiller will split the load with Jackson. He will be GREAT for fantasy until then, but then become a flex play at best. Gailey has already said he doesn't want to overwork either of them, he wants to keep them fresh, so you're looking at ~15 carries a piece maybe. Also, his pace is unsustainable...averaging over 10 yards per carry through two games.

:laugh::laugh::laugh: LOL @ Spiller being a flex option "at best" when Fred Jackson comes back.

When Fred comes back he'll be lucky to get 10 carries a game, this is CJs team now.CJ has superstar potential, Fred doesn't.CJ is one of if no the most explosive RB in the league with home run threat every touch of the ball.

CJ is ending up with 1600+ total yards with 15+ TDs if healthy.Fred is a backup at best, injury prone 31 year old ain't taking over the starting job from CJ.

Ah, I see. I guess I made the old HFBoards mistake; reacting to a trade that has content that is mainly months old, if not more. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

you are crazy.

It will be a split at best for Spiller...

Who is getting paid the money?

They are not going to let Jackson sit the bench, he put up just as big of numbers Spiller has and regardless of age, they are to vested with Jackson.

When he comes back 50-50....you are simply mad if you think otherwise

Not really... Its not a big deal or anything but Rogers was a dud fantasy wise (1 overall in most drafts) and Romo wasn't good either. Not to mention Cam really came on at the end. On his wr list AJ and Calvin were great, Julio was ok and Percy and Jordy had injury problems. On his the TEs, everyone kind of sucked (except Gronk who got hurt so...)

And in no way shape or form am I ripping AmericanDream, its not a bad list and isn't a big deal or anything, it just wasn't a "perfect list"

Lol, yeah i doubt that's happening.

On 250 total touches CJ Spiller got 1,703 yards while not even getting the majority of the touches. He had to split time with an old and average RB because of his ex idiot coach.Next year he won't have that idiot coach giving him 10 touches a game and will quite easily get 2,000+ total yards.

^^^^ Consider me fully on board the Spiller bandwagon. I plan on drafting him very early next year. The guy is electric.

My concern is the hype will catch up before draft day (much like what happened with Julio) and you'll have to take him top 5 to get him.
