I'm not so sure that this matters in preseason games. I've watched entire Leafs/Sens preseason action on Sportsnet Ontario so far. Was waiting for it to cut out but never did.

The fact that they've been keeping Whitney with Petry for the JMC and now 2 preseason games tells me they're giving the kid a real look and a shot at making this team. Hopefully he's able to stay above water tonight like he has been so far.

I'd be kinda scared to trade MP for Hodgson right now too, but this is probably the last chance we'd have to get it done. If Hodgson's back is fine I think it would be a great trade for us.

The one thing with MP is that he makes it look so effortless. The really good players tend to do that. When you watch Hemsky you can see how much effort and impact he puts into his skating and his moves. MP just does things in a smoother, more fluid motion and that may bode well.

But yes, Sportsnet Oilers is essentially another name for Sportsnet One (a companion channel, anyway). The same applies to the Flames.

Yeah that stuff gets kind of confusing. My Mom back home in Canada phoned Shaw to specifically ask if the games were on Sportnet 1 and they told her yes. Which is channel 159 for her and to go there to watch the game.

After looking it up I told her to make sure to check channel 320 first (which she said currently said Sportsnet hockey on the guide).

If that is where it will be shown she would have probably been upset thinking she does not get the game like they said on channel 159. I guess that goes to having their customer service people better informed on the situation.

Even tho some people find me annoying on our own boards, I am still a DIE HARD canucks fan, so leaving that board will be hard to do.

Oilers are my second favorite team, they have so many young players I love, MPS and eberle are two of my favorites.

It is televised. It's on SNET Pacific for BC people and it would normally be on NHL CI here in AB, but this SNET ONE Gong Show is screwing everything up if you have Bell.
