In the 1990's FInland used to always finish 1st (only once), second, or third in the World Championships..... yet they have not finished in the top three I think in the last 4 or 5 years......what happened? :dunno:

Generally speaking, our foot soldiers are fine and we've got a lot of them, but where short of top end talent. Compared to say Slovaks, there are guys in third third line (Nagy comes to mind) that would be in on our first PP unit. Which leads to me conclusion that we must form Fenno-Slovakia, they've got the skill, we've got the defence. Imagine: Hossa - Koivu - Lehtinen Satan - T. Ruutu - Palffy Gaborik - Demitra - Selänne Jokinen - Handzus - S.
