Ahm... I was talking about a guest host, not a performer returning.
How many times have "guest hosts" been involved in matches. Granted about 99% of the time they arent, but Floyd Money Mayweather, Jeremy Piven, Otunga all were. Hell, Otunga was in the tag team championship match. I give you that 99% of the time, they don't perform, but that would be a great way to bring HHH back IMHO.
