They're the same size, are you using the full size one?

For me it says the Grabner one is 800x500 while the Franzen one is 640x400

Yeah. I usually do dramatic and pump up the regions slider, but it doesn't work for every pic so I use other filters some times (like Lucis and RDM).

Brush with splatter/grunge brushes
Paste cropped player over brushes
Apply whatever cartoon/plastic wrap filter to the player
Type Player name
Pen tool over a picture of signature

There's other things that are very minor too. Like on that Letang one there's a crosshatch filter on the background image, and some of them have scanlines.

The only part that might take some time is the cropping of the player, but there are places online that have them pre-cropped for you. Places like planetrenders.net.
