AHL schedule format released

The AHL schedule format has been released. It details how many times each team will play other teams.

I do not like it because I think the ahl should be more like the nhl and everyteam should play every team at least one time a year.

For most teams it is almost identical to last year's.

You have to wonder if they even try.

I'll have to agree with you there. I'm from Cleveland and I'd love to see the Barons play you guys or WBS or Hartford or anyone else in the Atlantic Division for that matter. Gets boring seeing the same teams over and over again. I mean, sure it's great to have rivalries, but do we really need to play Hamilton 10 times this season? I think not... especially with what happened with us and Hamilton last season. I'm not looking forward to those games at all... But at least we're playing more games with Toronto this season. After coming from behind in the series (with an amazing double OT game) and eliminating them in the Q-round, it should prove to be a pretty fun rivalry.

I know I mean we have not play you guys in a couple of years we have not played cincinnati in a couple of years and the same for St. John. So I mean come one let teams see everyone.
