What you guys had to endure for the past 2 years regarding that trade wasn't easy, but in the end counting the Kaberle trade as well I think you guys did very well and watching Seguin play this year I haven't seen anything special from him. You guys got a 30+ goal scorer with 40 potential, you guys did quite well and your GM has balls!

Anyways I see the Leafs back in the playoffs as of next year with a couple of FA moves this summer. Good luck

I wish Colborne would have had the opportunity to play in more than one game this season. Surely the result of the game won't have much affect on standings, but nevertheless it is the Leafs vs. Habs on HNIC. And he's on the top line! I just wonder if he'll try to do too much because there is only one game for management and fans to see him play at the NHL level this season. I will feel so bad if he screws up on a play and gets so much criticism without having another game to make up for it.

Who cares? Whats the worst that could happen? He plays a terrible game which means nothing, no big deal. Better than such happening in a meaningful game where the fans would get on him. Any fans that show up to that game are showing up to support the team, the pessimistic ones will stay home. And if he has a great game, that will only boost his confidence. Plus either way it gives him something to ponder all summer and hopefully work his butt off to get back to because now the NHL wont be just a dream for him anymore, it will be an attainable reality.

Since Brent won't be playing (torn muscle) I guess Boyce will be centreing the fourth line. Also, I think they'll play Rosehill and Brown on his wing, after all it is Montreal we're playing.

I just love the scoring ability on each line now. Hell, even Brown has speed to go with his gritty style of play. Crabb has shown some sick flashes of dangeling abilities (Buffalo shorty) and Boyce can chip in. The third line is going to be quick. Some defensive cough ups are expected, but I mean Frattin is coming in blind to one of the biggest stages in Canada. Pair that line with Phaneuf and Aulie and I think they'll do alright. Than the top two we already know of their abilities.

To sum it up, it's going to be one hell of a game tomorrow night :yo: Some new faces looking to make an impact, it's refreshing to say the least. It just sucks that this game is going to be the biggest tease ever haha.

i agree. the third line is lookin very good. this is ideal for bozak. kadri to start here next season. then make his way up. by that lineup. i think we will win. hopefully colborne looks good tomorrow.

Having Colborne, Kadri, and Frattin in the lineup for the last game sends messages in two directions:
Youth: your time is near. Train hard.
Veterans: we're looking at changes for next year. We want to be better. Can you be better? Think about it over the summer.

I really couldn't care about the score. I just want the Buds to come out forechecking hard and play a down-right physical game... I want the Habs to be battered and bruised at the end of this one. A sign of what's to come over the next several years. Kick their ***** guys!

Leafs have an identical Record with St. Louis, but they would finish higher because of goal differential if they both won tonight. Minnesota is 1 point back, but has more wins, so if they tie in points, Minnesota finishes higher. Need 2 points tonight.

Dont expect much from Frattin, he wont come in this game and be the saviour. I literally have no expectations for him, and I am very very high on this guy. Same goes for Colborne, though more is to be expected out of him. I just want to see that he looks like he fits. Make some simple smart plays and keep puck out of our own net. Should thrive on a line with Kessel and Lupul

It all ends tonight. After the past two seasons about worrying about our position in terms of where Boston would draft, its nice that we don't have to worry any more about this. Had Frattin had the choice, I imagine he would have chosen 21, and Colborne 22(or whatever number he wears in the minors).
