and Goug Glanville has a bad start on a pop-up, misses the ball. 2 batters later Patterson hit it far away in the center and the score is tied at 2. Not only doesn't Milton get the no-hitter but he can't even have the win since he was pulled out of the game after the 2nd point.

It was the 1st time that I've seen a no-hitter where the defense didn't have to make a single close play. Milton was easily cruising, and Glanville has a bad jump too bad for Milton

Glanville is an idiot. As someone said on the Fyer board, if Milton had any heart at all he would have ran into centre field and punched him right in the face.

Glanville was brought in to mess up the no -hitter. Its the role he's reduced to. Milton was awesome, i was thinking after knocking down Alou, Lee and Aramis he could get it. Damn.

At least no one jinxed it.

Let's face it, this is Philadelphia, 2 no-no's in a year, we went about 12 years before Millwood's

Not to mention both no-no's would be at home....there hasn't been a no-no for a pitcher at home outside of Philadelphia in quite a while.
