Winslow is the most arrogant ***** I've ever seen in college. Very very talented. But even his immense talent doesn't match his mouth. It's close, because he is very talented, but his mouth is just that much more.

the divisions a toss up? christ the ravens could tank the first 10 games of the season and still probably win it

and as for Kellen Winslow, the "Not really the Browns" will win 4 games with him or without him this year

The AFC North isn't a "toss-up", the only thing that hasn't been determined is who of Cincy and Baltimore will win the division and who will finish second.

Barring some kind of miracle the Steelers have third tied up and the Browns have the basement all to themselves.

Bengals and Steelers should fight it out for second place, and the Browns will bring up the rear. (pun intended)

While nothing's a given in the NFL. It seems pretty obvious that the Ravens are the class of the division. If Garcia stays healthy, I see no reason why the Browns can't finish second in the division. The Browns will have a shot at 8-8. The Steelers are going downhill fast and will be in the basement this season and with Palmer starting for the Bengals they better hope that Rudi Johnson can produce for a full season.

The way I see it, the standings will look like this

Baltimore Ravens 10-6
Cincinati Bengals 8-8
Cleveland Browns 7-9
Pittsburgh Steelers 5-11

What everyone is failing to notice is that we're returning nearly the same defense. Sure Jamal Lewis ran two career days against us, but they grew together as a unit and they're going to continue. McCutcheon was just re-signed for 5 years, so that might step up his game. If Griffith plays to his potential, he's good for 6 picks. Lee Suggs is going to get the starting nod over William Green. Green was 6 carries for 8 yards yesterday and Suggs ran for over 90 yards I believe in the Bills scrimmage. If Jeff Faine and the offensive line can protect Garcia and give him time to throw, it's still a talented receiving corps in Northcutt, Davis, and Morgan. If Winslow shuts his mouth and plays football, he can be a valuable asset. He's another of Butch Davis's Miami boys. If things fall together, the Browns can have a shot at the division, at least an 8-8 season.

People dont relize that, Carson Palmer is like throwing a rookie out there because of his whole year without throwing a pass, which should mean mistakes, Steelers, are well just screwed. The Ravens will be tough but what if Jamal Lewis goes to jail for those charges? The division can be won by a losing record, and I wouldnt be surprised if it happen. Let's just see how it all unfolds. Football is in there air, I love it.

I think the best thing the Browns have going for them is playing in a weak division. In all honestly, a 7-9 record may be enough to win it.

Other than that, I think the Browns are one of the worst teams in the league. No playmakers on defense, terrible offensive line, QB that was inflated by his system and in rapid decline, questionable running game and most of all bad coaching. I would be shocked to see them even get a sniff of .500. 5-11 or 6-10 is my bet.

As for the rest of the division...

Ravens are one aspect away from a great team. A passing game. I am not a Boller fan (I think he is the White Stewart: more athlete than QB) and the receiving core flat-out blows goats. They seem like a lock to finish dead last in the air. I doubt they even have 3000 total yards in the air. Defense will keep the score low and Lewis carry the load (2000 will be tough to repeat) and that will all but assure them an 8-8 record at least. To be better than 10-6, Boller has to really make me look wrong.

Steelers are not getting their due respect. Yes, last year was bad. However, last year was also decimated by injuries. They are not going to be a good team, but if they can keep the line healthy and find an adequate solution at RT (the rest of the spots are decent), then they can make a run at 8-8, even the division.

Bengals are the sexy choice. I think they take a step back with Palmer QBing this year. First time starter with a pass-oriented offense spells trouble. That said, they look to be a potent contender in another year or two once Palmer does acclimate.
