Phoenix is willing to consider moving any of the picks from 86 and on for picks in the 2014 (possibly 2015) HFNHL Entry Draft due to the current depth in our prospect core. We've had over 7 picks in the draft for several years and at some point need to have a bit of a drop off in quantity to let some of these guys develop. We would also be willing to package multiple picks for a higher pick. Phoenix is also willing to move up/down on their 10, 40, 42, and 70 picks.

We are always up for discussion about roster players. We currently looking to move Brad Winchester, Jamal Mayers and Brendan Morrison for minimal return. All other players can be discussed by contacting the HFNHLCoyotes Hotmail account or contacting myself.

For several years the Predators have iced what is maybe the best top line in the entire HFNHL in Rick Nash and Corey Perry, centered by Henrik Sedin.
A trip to the Western Conference finals has been their best achievement so far, overshadowed by too many non-playoff seasons.

It may be time for the Predators to move on, to trade their star players and rebuild around a young core.

The big question is: Is there a market for big names such as Nash?

On the block...

Roster Players - Tobias Enstrom, Patrick Hornqvist

I would need a contract back in the deal, but would primarily be looking for picks/prospects.

Prospects - Mikail Grigorenko, Victor Rask, Henrik Samuelsson, Brayden McNabb (amongst several others, if you see someone you like let me know)

I would like to trade one of my C prospects for a RW/LW/G prospect.

Picks - #16, 29, 31, 53, 77

Will be looking to move up/down come draft day so keep me in mind should you wish to do something similar. Would also be willing to trade one or two of these for a RW/LW/G prospect.

Needs - Goaltending, whether it be a prospect or young NHLer. Wingers. Picks this year or next.

(AP) - Anaheim

Once again the Ducks are making those that cover this team work hard. Following the trade of Nail Yakupov, the Ducks have now moved Ty Rattie, Rocco Grimaldi, the number 19 pick in this years draft, Dainius Zubrus, and a third round pick.

The return, the 6th overall pick in this years entry draft from the Winnipeg Jets.

We caught up with GM Larsen to break down the deal as he and his staff prepare for this weekends draft with the sixth overall and the 2nd rounder acquired from San Jose.

Q - Why? It appears like a high price for number 6.
A - frankly, this is a very strong draft near the top. We feel that teams have made their decisions on picks 1-5, and number 6 will make it worth the price. We still have some assets that we are comfortable and excited about developing. Part of this, is the need to maintain high end prospects. We hated giving up Rattie, but feel that 6 is likely more beneficial than Ty and 19 overall. Rocco was a pick of the previous regime, that is decent but his value on the open market has been minimal. Moving Zubrus was to get us closer to the cap.

Q- speaking of the cap, I believe the team is now around 67 million, slightly above the cap. Will this lead to more moves?
A - obviously we need to make a couple of moves to make that happen. If neck, we can waive a higher contract with relatively low value. We do need to find a backup goalie so there is still time to make all of that happen. We are limited with whom we can move prior to the All Star game but are comfortable. We have a strong team that will contend this season.....no question.

Q - will you give those that cover the team some time off now?
A - post draft I think so. Our cap situation takes us out of some of the crazy in free agency. We didn't have any plans on offers for RFAs anyways. There might be a couple of minor guys we will try for but that's more for depth anyways.

The Detroit RedWings have decided the time is now. Adding two star calibre players in Boyle and Iginla and a 3rd liner in Mason Raymond. With the acquisitions the Wings now boast a deadly top 9 and will look to add a cast of 4th liners cheep this move also solidifies that the Wings will by out Belangers horrendous contract.

Projected 2013-2014 line up

Iginla-Hanzel-Giroux
Stephan-Grabovski-Ryder
Versteeg-Cullen-Raymond
?-Beagle-?
Atkinson-Nyquist

Boyle-Gleason
Corvo-Rozival
Sbisa-Wilson

Lundqvist
Barbara

The line up boasts talent but lacks a serious center though the price will be too high for the Wings to aquire him. So they will stick with the current centers and hope they can keep over performing
