If it wasn't for him the team would have been upset in the first round and the rest of the playoffs the team played better but he was called upon to make several big saves each night. If he gets drafted, if he gets to play for his country, that's a bonus.

But its in a teams own best interest to develop their own assets as well as they possibly can.
