Pretty well documented. Bad streak for him. He played better last game. Hope he continues the play vs WPG and plays well vs you guys. Might be first round matchup afterall.
End of the day 82 games vs 48 games makes a difference. Habs and leafs are hungry and had a good start but who knows how they'll do in 82 games. Not an insult to your leafs but general comment that they gotta deal with highs and lows and habs currently aren't doing great at it. If you want me to attribute it to something it's a nice voice. Therrien was the voice they needed. A fresh start, a short season and a new style. I wouldn't say he is the reason but just the fact they are more receptive to the change I guess. We'll see how it plays out, looking like habs-leafs.
Subban's pace for about 30 goals over 82 games schedule as a D. Pretty awesome. His D game has been better than last year. As opposed to someone like karlsson who can really make that awesome stretch pass with consistency Subban had to play a more honest and simple game. He's been doing that, short crisp passes and his decision making has improved. He looks great but I'm biased, just been always improving like any young player usually would. His stats are a little inflated(small sample, short season, good PP) but he's emerging as a better offensive force.
As for Galchenyuk, his game will impove over time but he's not a super elite talent so we'll have to wait for him to develop. He started the year as a wing for 1 game then back to C for a while and now back to wing again. He's played both but I think they will be patient and keep him on the wing for now. With Eller, DD, Plekanec as centers there's no rush but I don't think they'd hesitate to put him back if needed.
Haha, you won't find many out there owning up to being a Kadri basher these days. Reminds me of another poster who had "Kessel sucks" as his user title. Kessel puts up 82 points and next year his title is "Phaneuf sucks". You just can't win with some.
