Watch Tippett start Labarbara against us just to be a bish.
PHX scored 3 PP goals against the Sharks the other night. Could be scary. |
Go Stars!
This will be deserted.

Phoenix isn't as bad as that performance against San Jose suggests, but the Stars should be able to come away with the win if they give an honest effort for the full 60 minutes. The Phoenix PP is something that seems to get the Stars quite often so it could be something to watch for.
Hopefully Lehtonen gives us a great performance in net and Mike Smith / Jason Labarbera isn't up to the challenge on the other end. |
If Jamie Benn get's a point tonight, he'll not only be the youngest Star to ever register 100 points for the club...he'll also rank 2nd in quickest to 100 points (for those that were drafted by the club).
Fewest number of games to 100: 1. Jussi Jokinen –100 pts in 153 GP 2. Jere Lehtinen –100 pts in 156 GP 3. James Neal –100 pts in 161 GP Jamie Benn –99 pts in 153 GP Youngest to 100: 1. Brenden Morrow –23 years, 46 days 2. James Neal –23 years, 48 days 3. J. Langenbrunner –23 years, 92 days Jamie Benn –22 years, 83 days |
I'd assume those don't include pre-Dallas years
Probably. Those came from the game notes, so probably right.
has to be, one Mike Modano did it faster and was younger
Quote:
Modano scored his 100th point on December 11th 1990 at 20 years and 187 days old. Took him 111 games.
Bellows did it younger. Not sure how many games. |
Either way, Neal Broten was certainly quicker. 100p in 76 games (at most).
Whats the line up for today?
Same as Saturday I would imagine. Kari in net.
At least we're not playing a team with a large fanbase that will create a thread that "we have no fans and should move"
Quote:
Didn't even realize until about an hour ago that the Rangers start play an hour or so before us. Gonna be way more empty than even originally I thought it would. |
It's going to be humiliatingly empty in there. Que the "Dallas is in the sunbelt; have no fans" threads on the main board
Let's Go Stars! We need to bounce back from saturday's loss.
Parkin lot is not even half full
What have the top 2 lines looked like for the first 2 games? Something like:
Morrow-Ribeiro-Ryder Eriksson-Benn-? Or am I way off? Can't seem to find lines in the GDT but maybe I'm blind... |
Anyone got a Stars feed stream? Can only find the Coyotes one. It's better than nothing but I felt I'd ask anyway.
Oh god it looks horribly empty.
