Lobo, for the love of god can you please stop with the 2 additional posts full of videos that make this page basically inaccessible to me on my phone. I don't mind the recap and highlights of the last game but the pictures and vids eat bandwith and are such a distraction that really add nothing to the GDT.

The text content is fine, if overly long, but can we somehow trim the rest? Please.

MB94 10-11-2011 11:51 PM

I agree it's a pain when you wanna search the GDT on your phone, but then again the additional two post of videos and pictures are cool to have.

MetalGodAOD 10-12-2011 05:14 PM

Niewy told Mark from ESPN Dallas today that he expects 1 of either Pardy or Grossman to be ready for tomorrow. I'd be on Grossman, Pardy still seems to be nagging a bit.

MB94 10-12-2011 05:16 PM

Will we see Nystrom in the lineup tomorrow? If so what will our lineup look like?

piqued 10-12-2011 05:30 PM

Guessing Petersen plays.

Wandell will just move to the right side on the 4th line for whoever draws in.

Nystrom played a game Sunday in Houston. I imagine he's in game shape, but I think piqued is probably right that he'll sit out this game.

My guess is his first game would be Tuesday at the BJs.

piqued 10-12-2011 09:28 PM

There was a quote in the Russo article about the trade from Nystrom where he said he hadn't even been skating recently. I wouldn't be so sure he's in NHL game shape.

Unless you're watching the videos it shouldn't affect your bandwidth.

Anyways, hopefully we have a better game tommorow night.

Wandered over to the St. Louis board and saw the proposed line up:

McDonald - Backes - Langenbrunner
Oshie - Berglund - Stewart
Steen - Arnott - D'Agostini
Sobotka - Nichol - Reaves

looking at that lineup, seems like they're trying to spread the offense around 3 lines. langenbrunner on the pp would be more of a shock.

reaves v. barch? hmmmmmm...

Won't be home for the beginning of the game. Hopefully I can at least catch the 3rd period.

He's keeping that spot warm for when Perron comes back. Not sure where Langs goes then. He won't crack the top 9 unless of injury. Also, the Oshie-Berglund-Stewart line is actualy the best line.

Ambassador Of Fun 10-13-2011 09:58 AM

Yeah, I was about to say. There is no way that Langenbrunner line is the #1 line.

Carlo Colaiacovo and Trevor Daley both played their first NHL game at the age of 20. Colaiacovo is now 29 and has played in a little over 300 games. Daley is now 28 and has played in a little over 500 games.
