not crazy about Eller on the wing, but do like the notion of him playing with Pleks, at least until Cammy gets back.

Great, I was sure he would put Eller on the 3rd or 4th line... and on the wing. I was 50% correct.

Why the obsession with DD on the powerplay?

You might as well pay me to go out there and do his job. Stand on side of net. Lose puck battles. Make bad pass through crease that gets intercepted and cleared.

I think it's just Yemelin getting more comfortable so they will start giving him more PP and PK responsibility.

DD is quickly getting on my nerves. I have no idea why the coaching staff have such an obsession with him.

And for christ sakes..Eller is a centre!!!

These comments just make me laugh, because I remember all the posters last year clamoring for DD to get more PP time. :laugh:

A real miracle

I think it's pretty clear the organization is giving Desharnais a chance to show he belongs in the top 6 and whether he's worth keeping long term. I rather they experiment now than mid season.

I rather they don't experiment at all with DD as it is killing our PP's and losing us games.

The time to experiment was in pre-season, not in the regular season when you have Kostitsyn and Cole sitting on the bench.

I honestly love the line combos and PP units!

Idk why but I expect a huge game from that line if they somewhat stay together the whole game.

I see nothing wrong with those lines. Well balanced considering injuries.

I wonder about the D pairings. That's the real issue imo. Although there isn't much you can do with an AHL D.

When will Desharnais get waived?

I don't mind MaxPac with DD. They had chemistry last year in Hamilton.

But DD at centre on the top PP with Plek on the wing? Does DD have naughty pictures of Jacques Martin or something FFS?

Why not let Plek play center with AK and MaxPac on the wings! Big eared idiot, imo!

boggles my mind how Martin has stayed a coach so long in the NHL when message board posters have all the answers.

Much better but like everyone else, I'm getting sick to see DD. I rather have AK with Plekanec and MaxPac.
