Ask me in three games...

BigTuna49 10-15-2011 08:44 PM

I have no faith in this team right now. None whatsoever.

Klaus 10-15-2011 08:44 PM

Will the Jets ever win a game? :sarcasm:

Only been 3 games but it is so freaking hard not to be furious at Noel. Honestly seems like he has no clue what he's doing

i kinda understood why the new owners wanted to purge all that is Atlanta to make hie team their own, but i question why they got rid of ALL the coaching team. Rammer should have stayed even as a asst coach for continuity. This is looking like an expansion team

Toronto beat Atlanta 9-3 last year. We play them in 4 days.

razorsedge 10-15-2011 08:46 PM

They really haven't looked good. Even their flashes of excellence is really only average. At least I live in Oil country where they can't say we suck without being called hypocrites back.

I think Ovi and Stamkos will give new meaning to "Ugly"

theonlywhiteout 10-15-2011 08:46 PM

my honeymoon is over now. all the money in the world and they did nothing to improve the team. NOTHING.

Completely agree with you, Duke. This is tough to watch. All I can hope is with each practice and game we see improvement, chemistry, and positive strides forward. If this team still looks like this after 10 games, i'm going to be very, very concerned.

Active Puck 10-15-2011 08:47 PM

Mason basically calling out the team on the radio, saying the team has no identity. I can't disagree with him.

He wasn't stellar tonight but he made some good saves and when you consider what he had in front of him...

AWSAA 10-15-2011 08:47 PM

You can lose a game and still play well. We haven't even accomplished that yet.

sipowicz 10-15-2011 08:48 PM

What is this Jets (Atlanta Thrashers) AHL team masquerading as an NHL team!

Antro is complete crap, the guy can't even skate anymore!

Hope that was Jones last game in the NHL, he looks like he belongs in the ECHL!

How can anyone even think of sending Sceff back, he is one of the top 3 forwards in A REAL BAD bunch.

Don't pin this one on Noel, this is one gutless team, past Moose teams would beat this team!

Wheeler is a soft player, no guts, no effort and NO talent!

AugustBurnsRed* 10-15-2011 08:48 PM

0-4 on Monday. I don't see any reason as to why they would beat the Pens.

I'm going to be expecting a lottery pick. And i'm ok with that.

Stump 10-15-2011 08:49 PM

When I look at this roster - Buff, Ladd, Enstrom, Pavelec, Wheeler, Little, Kane, Burmistrov - I get excited. Then I watch a game and it all evaporates. These guys have been awful in these first 3 games, just awful.

Hard part for me is I know what this team is capable of, at least I thought I did. They are reaching a new level of low I have not seen before.

Good!! Someone needs to call this ****ing team out. That was a pathetic excuse for a hockey game.

LadyJet26 10-15-2011 08:50 PM

This team is just... awful. No intensity. No defense. No effort. I don't know about Noel's decision making at all.

Interesting, and he's spot on. There is zero chemistry, intensity, etc. The entire team is out of sync and not one guy appears to know what the other is doing on the ice. The coaching staff has to find a way to bring this team together and the leaders must step up. You'd think these guys had never played a single game together before. I honestly didn't expect this.

ThrasherMinion 10-15-2011 08:51 PM

Mason's a jerk. There's a reason Nashville and St. Louis didn't want to keep him. And no on except Don Waddell would over pay for him last year. He's as bad as anyone out there. Last year he had more holes than a collander.

Problem is coaching. Maybe there's some character issues there in the background as well, but coaching is the big problem. It's pretty obvious the Jets have individual talent but they didn't play at all like a team. The Coyotes, despite winning 4-1, didn't play nearly as good as they did in Nashville.

Chevy is a good hire, but Noel is not.

I agree.

Rick Dudley has to be scratching his head over in Toronto.
