That's not possible. The Flyers have just over $500,000 of cap space with Lappy on LTIR, and Zolnierczyk makes $900,000. There's no way they can do this without another move. Also, there's nothing confirming this anywhere.

Did they place Betts on LTIR?

I think Betts is on the LTIR as well

EDIT: 1+6 = 7 not 8 so I guess we had 0.1 to start with. That or writers can't add.

It was written in the Inquirer but never confirmed officially. Shelley's suspension ends after the Ottawa game, too.

We were already using some of that 1.86 before calling up Harry Z I believe

Elliotte Friedman wrote yesterday that even with Betts and Lappy on LTIR, they still may not be able to call up Brayden Schenn.

So I am assuming he will play tonight? Could use his speed against the Sens..also would like to see Bob get a start.

Schenn will not be called up any time soon.

Coburn is now with the team. Holmgren called Harry Z.'s promotion "a precaution."

Damn, I was hoping if a move was made Schenn would be up. Harry Z played well in preseason though.

Will be shocked to see Z play tonight.

The question is why? If it is a precaution, my guess is someone is banged up.

Betts has also been placed on LTIR. And that give the Flyers a little more than 1.1M of LTIR Cap space to work with.
