Forsberg, Collberg and Åberg vs. Landeskog, Zibanejad and Pääjärvi

Which group of forwards do you think will have a bigger impact on swedish hockey?

It feels like this years group is slightly more dynamic offensively, but I'm not completely sure, although I really do think that Collberg and Åberg are players that we've been lacking the last few years; goal scoring wingers.

Landeskog and Zibanejad will most lkely make a big impact. Atleast Landeskog. Zibanejad has the potential but im not sure. Pääjärvi is so overated its funny. He should be happy if he ever reach one 1ppg season. (But i hope i am wrong here)

Landeskog and Zibanejad are both potential superstars.

Will be extremely interesting to follow.

We are talking among the biggest talents Sweden ever have had.

It's a long way to go though from being a huge talent to becoming a superstar.

Speedbullet Pääjärvi is more difficult to judge but he is for sure given a lot of chances and good icetime in Edmonton.

Yeah. I agree that Pääjärvi is quite overrated, even though I like him as a player, but considering he's in a team where he's given a lot of confidence and playtime with other young guns, I think it's unavoidable that he'll have a solid development. I'd consider Landeskog our biggest hope out of the lot so far, but it's difficult to say.

More skill on the left side. Better chance for a new peter forsberg on the right side.

Åberg and Zibanejad, if they play together. Their chemistry is so ****ing awesome.

Yeah hopefully we will see that in wjc. I think Zibanejad would be better off playing lots and gaining confidence in SEL rather than playing for a losing Ottawa, where he will get a lot less icetime and where he frankly haven't played very well yet.

I'd give Magnus some time. He had a pretty good rookie season after all, especially down the stretch. I'm not so sure Landeskog will put up a whole lot more than those 34 points in his first year even if he's younger.

Landeskog fourth in shots on goal stats in the entire NHL so far. ;-)

I would say that's a pretty impressive start for an 18 year old playing for a third line.

His points will come.

There will never be a new Peter Forsberg.

I also have a very hard time to believe we will ever see that.
