Rinne
Lindback

Nice GDT

I'm assuming Rinne will start since we lost the San Jose game, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Lindback. As SLake point out, after tonight we face six WC teams in a row. Much needed points for the play off hunt later. Also, we don't see a back-to-back for about a month (our first one being an away game against Minnesota and then a home game against the Oilers).

Tampa Bay definitely still has a good offense. They do have problems defensively, though. They have let up a lot of goals in (1 or 0 goals in three of their nine games; three or more in the other six) and they give up nearly as many shots as Nashville. If our forwards can't get the puck behind this Lightning defense then I begin to become very concerned. It's basically a coin flip as to whether Garon or Roloson gets the start, but I think it will be Roloson. Garon came off of a shut out to let in three goals in their last game.

Drake744 10-27-2011 10:28 AM

I've seen one Tampa Bay game this season and it was their home opener which they lost 7-4 to Florida. As you mentioned, very shaky defensively and should allow us to generate some chances. Speaking of chances, we can't take any right now so we have to start Rinne especially with their firepower on offense. They're second to last in goals allowed, but third from to top in goals scored, so this could definitely be an interesting game.

Also I'm looking forward to seeing Fisher and Cube play tonight and see how they look in their first game "after playing a game". Hopefully they were feeling okay yesterday.

4-2 Bolts

Rinne cant save this team forever

hipcheck85 10-27-2011 02:01 PM

Eleventeen to zero Lightning. Stamkos with 10, Malone with 1. Mcgratten plays and knocks himself out. Go Preds

I Will Son 10-27-2011 02:10 PM

Better be a stream..

headsigh 10-27-2011 02:15 PM

Calling a Preds win here.

AtlantaWhaler 10-27-2011 02:26 PM

Preds win 5-4 (yes...5).

No TV in Atlanta tonight. Either stream or good updates please!

TMI 10-27-2011 02:38 PM

I don't know if I will be able to catch any of the game tonight. I have a... um... "special meeting" with someone, and I don't think she would be very happy if I had it streaming on my computer the whole time. Tivo was invented for times like these, but FSN went ahead and screwed me out of that option.

Shea Weber 10-27-2011 02:54 PM

I have an extra ticket. Sec. 325. $40

#shortnotice

TootooTrain 10-27-2011 03:54 PM

Gotta get some shots on net! Fire all cylinders! Preds win.

Tell her husband to tape the game for you.

(If that joke isn't allowed, you now have the power- and my blessing- to delete it. Have fun.).

Sounds to me like she's not worth it.

I kid.

Stay in, make her dinner, and watch the game together. If she doesn't know hockey, explain the rules.

Of course, that assumes this girl likes sports at all...

My girlfriend isn't exactly a "hockey fan" but last season's Vancouver series got her attention I'll say that. She grew up around sports but just not hockey. She tries though when the time is right. She's going with me and my family when they come out to visit for the LA/Anaheim games in a couple weeks.

Moral of the story is this: A girl may not necessarily "get" hockey or be a fan, but if she realizes how much it means to you and lets you do your thing, that's all you can ask for.

DontCallPlayersStuds 10-27-2011 06:08 PM

Here comes another loss.

If we manage 25 shots, I'll at least call it a moral victory.

Drake744 10-27-2011 06:19 PM

I like how this is the 19th post in our gameday thread 45 minutes before the game starts.

jstreet 10-27-2011 06:33 PM

Ill be down at the Bridge yelling my head off. Either for or at the team, we will see. :naughty:

kypredsfan 10-27-2011 06:58 PM

Predsfan80 10-27-2011 07:04 PM

Its on NHL Ice and I live about 20 minutes from the Bridge. I'm not sure if Comcast is still doing the free NHL Ice preview but I went ahead and subscribed.
