glad to see all the depth and kids showing up. the system seems to be bending/not breaking and their decent on special teams. quality goaltending. it'll be interesting to see how consistent they can be.

Despite the kids struggling, some secondary scoring finally showed up. Sutton has really amped up his physical play lately and I'm glad to see that. Dubnyk was solid too, when he need to be. Jones sucks.

As a hockey lover it's really difficult not to like Landeskog. He's just a pure hockey player. Loved it when he skated up to O'Brien and gave him credit for standing up for him. And he didn't ***** about the check from Sutton either, just put some cotton up his nose to stop the bleeding and kept on playing.

Gutsy win by the boys, i didn't think that they had much of a chance tonight but they buckled down and pulled it out despite getting severely outshot. Yet another character building win.
This team can actually be good if the offense ever wakes up, maybe not playoff good but at least to the point of playing meaningful games in February-March which is a vast improvement.

very happy with the win. It's still early, but the oilers are doing their best to stay relevant...and getting a strong start like this will pay dividends as the grind of the season starts to separate the teams between the good, the bad and the ugly.
