SK-8T fuel
Anyone tried it?

mhkehoe 10-30-2011 03:44 PM

I haven't tried it, but I think I saw a discussion about it on modsquadhockey not too long ago. I think the general consensus was that you could feel a difference, but it wasn't game changing. And reapplying ranges from player to player.

Yup ... went over and saw that too ... seems to work as advertised

ps ... found it on ebay too

Buccaneer 10-30-2011 04:14 PM

On the ebay listing it said it only needs reapplying after each sharpening

what seems to be the point of this stuff?

go here for a description ... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SK-8T-FUEL-NH...item336da3c983

Unless you get this crap for free, i wouldn't pay a dime to use it. Sharp skate blades and ice have worked fine for the last century

Have you tried it? ... everyone thought the earth was flat till someone proved it was round ... If it's true that the NHL approved it this year and lots of junior teams used it last season then it would have had to go through a testing process right?

I was looking at it a few months ago based on the WHL Rebels success stories ... heck I drop 30 beans in the bar with the boys so what have I got to lose LOL
